Student Financial
Aid is a way to help students pay their expenses like tuition fee and
other expenses. There are different methods to help students for ex -
student grants, scholarships, work study programs, tuition programs.
Eligibility of an student for any kind of aid depends on the conditions on which they have applied as well as their score.
Grants
are called "gift aid" because this is the money that is given to a
student free of cost without having the need for the student to repay
it. More about grants can be found here
Scholarships
are also often known as "gift aids" because they are free and students
don't need to repay them. The only difference between a grant and
scholarship is that grants are given based on the needs of a student,
specially financial needs while scholarships are offered based on the
clearing certain scholarship tests or high school scores. Find out more
