Eligibility Criterion For Student Financial Aid - Different types of aid (private scholarships, state grants, etc.) have different rules, called eligibility criteria, to determine who gets the aid. Here are the eligibility criteria for the federal student aid programs 

Estimate Your Financial Aid - FAFSA4caster is a free financial aid calculator that gives you an early estimate of your eligibility for federal student aid.  Find for about it here

How Do I Apply For A Federal Student Loan - These forms may be filed at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Receive a financial aid award letter by mail or email. This letter will summarize the financial aid available to the student, including the Federal Stafford loan. Contact your financial aid office to accept the financial aid and student loans. What Is A Parent Plus Loan - PLUS loans are federal loans that graduate or professional degree students and parents of dependent undergraduate students can use to help pay education expenses. The U.S. Department of Education makes Direct PLUS Loans to eligible borrowers through schools participating in the Direct Loan Program. Find more

Student Financial Aid


Student Financial Aid is a way to help students pay their expenses like tuition fee and other expenses. There are different methods to help students for ex - student grants, scholarships, work study programs, tuition programs.
Eligibility of an student for any kind of aid depends on the conditions on which they have applied as well as their score.
Grants are called "gift aid" because this is the money that is given to a student free of cost without having the need for the student to repay it. More about grants can be found here
Scholarships are also often known as "gift aids" because they are free and students don't need to repay them. The only difference between a grant and scholarship is that grants are given based on the needs of a student, specially financial needs while scholarships are offered based on the clearing certain scholarship tests or high school scores. What makes an extraordinary college application essay?

An extraordinary essay is a tall order, but it can be done - and not necessarily by students who've done extraordinary things. 

Here's the short list.
1.  Make it acutely, achingly personal.  You're unlikely to say something we haven't already heard about socialism.  You are more likely to have unique perspectives on the treatment of LGBT students in small town America.
